Marianne Williamson's 25 wildest tweets

"This isn't politics it's black magic. Entirely a psychic battle. Use your shield of Virtue and your sword of Truth."

If you hadn't heard of Marianne Williamson before this week, you almost certainly know her name now. By the time the Democratic debate was over on Thursday, the 2020 candidate left audiences wondering both what she was doing on the stage in the first place, and if they'd be able to resist voting for her.

A New Age self-help author who counts Oprah among her friends and Laura Dern among her ex-roommates, Williamson raised eyebrows with her hatred of plans, her love of New Zealand, and her direct address to President Trump, in which she told the commander-in-chief "I will meet you on [the] field, sir, and love will win."

It's worth keeping in mind, though, that this time in 2015 we were just as shocked by the things a candidate named Donald Trump had said. With the healthy caveat that today's punchlines can be tomorrow's presidents, here are 25 of Williamson's wildest tweets over the years.
