A man suspected of being involved in a Tuesday shooting in Jersey City, New Jersey, published anti-Semitic and anti-police posts online and left a "manifesto" inside his van, investigators said Wednesday. The shooting left six people dead, including one police officer. The incident reportedly began as a homicide investigation the killed police officer had responded to, and devolved into an hours-long standoff that took over the residential neighborhood. Investigators have not identified the attackers or victims, but two of those killed are reportedly connected to the Jewish community in Jersey City. Officials are still investigating, but reportedly believe the attack was motivated by anti-Semitic and anti-police sentiments. Two wounded officers and one injured civilian are expected to recover.
